OK Yea I already have the plenum separated from the hood from painting it. I have the Huck rivet rented from AMK and what I need to bond it  back onto the hood. ( Thanks for the link Pete !)

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / KR under hood plenum

Hey Guys,
I'm debating if I should try and refinish the ram air plenum on my KR. It really seems to have a bunch of different shades going through it and just looks like it needs help. If I would go the paint route what would be the best color/type/brand ?

Thanks,  Tom

Im looking to confirm that the air cleaner decal thats on my KR is the correct one. It has a C9 part number on the Autolite service sticker on the side and that dont seem right. This is a very early KR (2295) being the 13th conv built according to the 68 registry.
Thanks, Tom

Im about to reinstall my console and in making 110 % sure I had the amp gauge wired correctly now I can't remember/find where the black w/green trace wire coming off of the back of the oil pressure gauge connects to in the cars wiring harness.
Anybody remember off the top of their head ??
Thanks for any possible suggestions.

Rattle can or paint code mix ?

Would anyone have a picture of the firewall showing the the sealer/under coating that was sprayed all around the heater hose area along with the brake booster area. I'm wondering if everything that was attached to the firewall was in place when the spraying was done. Also what is a good product to use replicate this ?
Thanks Tom

OK mystery solved ! Turns out the holes were accidently filled, the reasoning behind it was they were only on the one side so he figured they weren't original.

OK good clue, I'll have to look a lot closer to see if my body guy filled them by mistake which is what i'm starting to think.
Thanks Tim,
