The hood escutcheon plates look identical to the Triumph TR2 and TR3 spare tire hatch latch covers.  The T handle is known as a 'Coach Key" in the Triumph world.

Our '68 J Code GT was a 9 inch 28 spline 3.25 limited slip.

Several of our cars had stamping errors.  On one car the R was missing on both fender stampings, another had the last number missing on both fender stampings, and on a third the windshield tag was 8T01 instead of 8T02 on a fastback.

#659 was built in December 1967 and had the antenna in the right front fender.  It also had an antenna cable run to the left rear fender area.
