Quite a battle at the end.  I thought it might reach $300K.

Congratulations on your sale.  Hope the new owner has as much fun as you had.  I enjoyed watching you run around the track.

I am running them as well in both GT-350's.  No issues over the last 35 plus years.

Quote from: tesgt350 on May 14, 2026, 11:00:37 AMI wonder why it has stalled at $35,250?

I would say just like some BaT auctions, bidders are waiting for the final countdown.  Bidding will probably pick up with a day or two before the auction's close.

Good luck with the auction, Craig.  I enjoyed watching you drive the Sonoma circuit.

Thanks, I needed a good laugh this morning.

I do not mind the question asking, items to sell, or wanted to buy.  Many folks have learned a lot from the questions that have been asked and if I know an answer, I will chime in unless someone else beats me to it.  The Forum has provided me helpful information, which I have used to correct items on my car that were done incorrectly when I restored my car back in 1990.

  Many thanks!

I have used an IR thermometer in the past and not had that problem.  I was 12" or less from the area I was measuring.  I would try a little closer and see.  When I measured the temperature of the thermostat housing, I was about 6 to 10 inches away and the dot was exactly where it was pointed.

Quote from: capecodmustang.com on January 22, 2026, 05:24:15 PMWouldn't it be something if a SAAC member owned it and just wasn't ready to discuss it or how he found it?

They would not have a moments peace if it was disclosed.

Quote from: BGlover67 on January 19, 2026, 03:14:33 PMCall me crazy, but I think someday it will turn up.  To all the nay sayers, just think 'Lil Red'.

I agree with you Brian.  It is probably resting in a garage or barn out of sight.

Quote from: greekz on January 10, 2026, 11:28:07 AMVery good information.  One question, other than the Mag Star handle, is the change over date known for the standard handle design(13/16")?
Very late at least at San Jose. The reason being I have seen a number of very late 67 Shelby's which had the tear drop style lug wrench.

Thanks, appreciate the information.

Update. The clips will be ready by January 16.  I will be messaging those who wanted them for shipping addresses to calculate costs

Thanks,
