Original owner Walt Walls was a great guy to talk to...used to see him at many shows here in Massachusetts. Glad his sons still own it.

Thank you to the Kopecs for all you've done over the years. I've enjoyed SAAC so much since joining in 1981

I was at the Lime Rock Historics a few years ago and a gentleman had Sebring's 289, CSX 2220 there. I think he was surprised that I knew who had once owned the car. He had a Connecticut dealer plate on the rear and the original black/yellow California plate on the front. He was pleasant to talk with and let me sit in it for some pictures.

Shelby American History / Re: Al grillo history

I live in Peabody Mass. which is next to the city of Lynn. I am fortunate to know a gentleman who was a mechanic at Grillo Ford and he has shared some very interesting memories with me. Shame on me I have not pinned him down to recored his recollections. This man is in his mid 70's so I need to get off my duff and do it.

He was kind enough to give me two of the four original dealer trunk tags that he still had. I shared photos of these tags with Pete several years ago but they never made it to his Al Grillo page...are you there Pete?...I can send you the pictures again ;D

I've used Seafoam additive for years and never ran into an Ethanol problem.

Well good to know you're still interested in literature Vern, I left a note on my special literature binder for my wife to offer you my Cobra Caravan Press Kit if I were to kick over suddenly ;)
