Not sure if most people know but the current GT 500 wires that Marti sells are not correct for non Thermactor cars. I have been talking to Kevin and gave him an original set I took off a car in the 3000's. He has looked at them and is willing to do them under the following. 1. They will be $100 a set. 2. If you previously bought the Thermactor version no refunds. 3. He needs a commitment for 25 sets. If you are interested reply here so I can give him a head count. If your car is being judged you will receive a deduction for incorrect wires.
I'm sure someone will ask so I'll answer. These will have all black boots, protector sleeve on #1 only and 90 degree boot on #8. We are still working on this but I am recommending he do 2 dates, 4q66 and 2q67.
Edit. After talking to Kevin, he said he has never seen anything earlier than a second quarter 67 date. He's even thinking that there may not be dates on the earlier wires. If anybody has any original dated wires, please chime in as to what the dates are so we can get this right

What JD is talking about using the 10 spoke emblem IMO is the only viable option. Honestly unless you're right on top of it it's is hard to tell. Looks way better than the non embossed version.
