Hello All,

I just purchased 6S1575 from a gentleman from Ontario Canada last month.  Picked the car up myself and got all of the required paperwork filled out at the border on my way back to Pennsylvania.  The local notary tells me that there was a new rule passed by Penndot in 2025 that says that all vehicles over 25 years old have to have a PA Enhanced inspection and then receive an "F" on the title, which means that they came from another country.  The enhanced inspection is usually only required for vehicles that have been totaled and put back on the road, at which time they receive an "R" or salvage title.  My inspection guy said has never done one in this situation and the only box on the PA MV-426B that he thinks could apply is "Collectible".  He is afraid that the title will come back with a brand that could devalue the car.  I have checked with other local notaries who are not familiar with this situation either.  Are the any other Pennsylvania members on here who have recent experience with titling an imported vehicle?

The Hurst shifter is definitely cool and the T-handle just fits your hand so well, but I love originality so I am definitely considering changing it back to stock.  Thanks again for all of your input.

I know this is probably a very elementary level question, but my car has a hurst shifter.  I have the original Ford shifter and would like to possibly put it back in the car for originality.  Are the shift rods for the Ford and Hurst shifters the same or not?

As the new owner of 6S1575, I just wanted to thank John for the professional way that he handled the sale and transport of his car to its new home.  If you ever have the chance to deal with John on the sale of any remaining excess parts for the car, I can vouch for his honesty and integrity.  Thanks John!

# 1485.  Royal Maroon with black interior.  Automatic.  64,000 original miles.  Car is largely unrestored except for some cosmetics.  Interior is in good condition with one hole in head liner.  Exterior paint has small "solvent pops" on the horizontal fiberglass surfaces from a repaint.  This car would make a great driver or candidate for restoration.  Very solid with no rust or dings.  Located in SW Pennsylvania. $110,000 obo.

Noticed the area on the inner fender near the right hood hinge as well.  Per the seller the car was in an accident sometime between 1966 and 1970 and the radiator support and hood were replaced.  Wonder how hard the car was hit and if this is damage from that accident.  Will follow up with the seller on that.  As always, would appreciate any other information or comments that anyone has on this car.

I see that this car is for sale in California.  I don't own a current Shelby Registry.  Does anyone have any information on this car?  Thanks in advance.

I have used my pickup truck and a U-Haul auto trailer to pick up several cars in good weather.  Recently towed my newest purchase, 1961 Starliner with 427 cammer, from KY to PA with no problems.  However, at this time of the year with all of the anti-skid material that they throw on the roads, your car might be sandblasted by the time that you get there.  I tried to rent an enclosed trailer to pick up the Starliner, but that is next to impossible.

Thanks for the replies everyone, but it is now a non-issue.  I had a refundable deposit down on the car and was supposed to inspect it on the 23rd, but the seller sold it to a buyer who wired the money sight unseen.  Judging by all of the questions about the car, it might be for the best.  Now, back to the search for a 66 GT350 or a 67 GT500.  Thanks again for all of the help, very informative and I appreciate your help and expertise.
