The current power steering pump that failed was a Cardone 967052. Said to be a brand new pump, not a rebuild. The other two were "rebuilt". I did restore, detail and install the original pump can. This pump lasted 4 miles of driving until I heard and felt things going wrong. The pump got so hot it was smoking along with the hoses and control valve. How the hoses did not burst, I don't know. I cut the belt and drove back to the shop. After cooling down, you can now spin the pump with no resistance. Wish I could post the video
