You never know if and when something comes up that has stayed hidden for a long time. For in-stance I found the number (1) AC cobra 289 car in Portland Oregon and missed purchasing it by 2 weeks. It was raced at PIR and stored in pieces in an enclosed trailer next to the house. The orig owner passed from cancer. It sold for $450K and shipped to California.

Fitting new repo dash aluminum pieces. Sending off OEM ones to be restored to put up for sale. All but the heater control plate.

Also took off the orig aluminum, the 4 pieces. When restoring they toss them and put aftermarket ones on.

I received a letter back from Anne Chewning and she does not have the title. Said if the car is found or the title she would like to know.

Next someone could try to locate Ray Wolff of Hi-Performance son and see if he still has any of the business paperwork stored away that would show a sale of the car in 1971.

Would be even better if someone could track down Ray Wolff son of Hi-Performance when it was open in California and if he has any of the papers from the business. May show who the Shelby was sold to.

Ray passed in 1991

After watching the video's and reading what is available out there I seen that Jim's little sister Anne is still alive. So I mailed here a letter and asked if she had the original title in here possession of Jim's things.

I received a reply yesterday. She does not! I notified Capecod mustang of this information. Letting all here know as well.

She did ask, If it was ever found or the title that she would like to know.
