Hi Again Paxton fans,
Looks like our hunches were correct on both counts. This car has gauges and from what the vintage ad shows they were a $35.00 option and not part of the base kit.And just so people that are keeping track the 34th factory Paxton car was lost in the train derailment so never was available for sale.Only 1 car was equipped with an automatic transmission so 32 4 speed cars. So nice to see this one example Awesome car!!

Wow. I am shocked and saddened. Dave was always the guy one could talk with when you wanted the straight story. We shared a lot of thoughts over the years, and the club will be missing a giant without his presence. Prayers and happy thoughts to Nancy and Dave's family. We'll miss you, Dave!

To Jays point they are good enough to run at the track. Meaning soft enough and sticky enough.
I have driven brand new "spec" continental slicks that are not as good as pilot sport cup 2's.
For this reason, some people take them off and put them in the garage and drive a regular pilot sport cup.
To each his own....
