Thank you all for the responses. I will be installing a tach on the dash of a 66 Fastback which has not had a Shelby tach installed before.

In my 66 Shelby we installed the tach using the existing holes before we installed the windshield. We had plenty of room to work with. I was looking for tips on how to install one including drilling the holes in the dash metal while the windshield was in place.

I was also looking for information on how SA did it?

Has anyone installed a Shelby Tach on the dash without removing the windshield? I would like to know how that was done.

How did Shelby American install the Tach?

Looking for one or more C0DD-5486-A reproduction sway bar brackets. These were available as reproduction at NPD and VA Mustang a few years ago but are now discontinued.   

Any updates on this topic? In particular, is any brand passably close to the original?

These are Ford NOS replacement splash shields. I had these powder coated. New aftermarket rubber. $75 plus shipping.

Hipo 289 Fomoco timing assembly with new timing chain. I don't remember the brand of the timing chain itself. I think it is a Melling. $250 plus shipping.

Koni shocks restored by Jim Cowles. These are beautiful. The color is burnt orange not red. Part numbers are 82-1388 with a date code of 909. I understand the date to be September of 1969. $700 plus shipping and insurance.

Disc brake caliper. Casting number A71312. New old stock. I believe this is driver's side for 67-68? My brake guy lubed the pistons. $200 plus shipping

2 1966 Shelby S2MS-6A582-B valve covers. In original Ford Blue oval script boxes. Boxes have the part number stamped on them and one has a date of 7/9/69. The other has a date of 2/4/69. These are the black solid letter ones. These are way nicer and very different from the reproduction versions.
