Quote from: Royce Peterson on February 23, 2026, 10:29:51 PMI'm getting old. Some day I will die. With me all the information I know will go away when I die. I don't mind sharing that information if it helps anyone. It is worth what anyone pays for it.

I quoted this above statement, I agree and I like it....+1 as a few will say here... Other that that, not sure what this post was about, is about, or why? I am just very glad to have the SAAC Forum as a resource and visit it everyday. Thank you all for all you do.

To add, I joined back in 1978 then got my first Shelby a 67 (2195) then got 1424, then hard times (school) had to sell...re-joined in 2015 or so after I got 1073 I started visiting the forum then...I now have a tw shelbys, a 66 and a 67...roots run deep

Please do not move to Tennessee, we are not that great....wink wink

I was at a party up in New York and was talking to a couple that live in North Carolina, I was telling them we were retiring and looking for a nice State to live. He referred to his home state of North Carolina as the New York of Southern States. I looked at my wife and said, "I do not think NC is for us." Just think leaving something that sucks, and move to another place that might be a better suck...then NY...

I think it would be horrible to live somewhere where I am not represented and the majority is not represented, oh wait, the majority of US want voter ID and there is a side, The D's, that refuse to represent US

Quote from: JD on February 12, 2026, 11:58:23 AMThe right reference is an original '67 Wheel Cover emblem, not a steering wheel label.

Artwork and specs created from the Wheel Cover emblem will need to be made as a starting point.

Proper gauge, correct color anodized aluminum plate with correct finish, will need to be sourced, Trimming die, embossing die, printing plates (black and matte clear) and approval, licensing agreement from Ford/Shelby.

OK send me one...I have examined them and I feel that it is the same....how about posing one of each so I can see the difference next to each other?

here
so middle picture shows the shelby cobra 67 center foil, the CS foil shows that it fits the wheel cover. Thus the steering wheel foil shelby cobra must also fit.

that just might be....how do you repair that issue...I thought it might appear to not be squirting much gas???? Not 100% sure though.
