Everything breaks down including driverless cars.  The general rule of entropy governs all both great and small.  My question then becomes, when said driverless car breaks down and causes a chain reaction of death and mayhem, who will be liable?  The owner of the car for failure to maintain?  The car manufacture for products liability i.e. design defect, manufacturing defect?  All of the above?  Interesting times await.

New story just released.  What happens to a car when a part of its soul is ripped away and to what lengths will an owner take to get it back?

After still smarting from a ticket for 21 mph over, I got to thinking about driverless cars.  How will governmental entities generate revenue for moving violations when driverless cars hit the ground running?  Will we be responsible for speeding tickets if the car malfunctions or charged with running a red light?  Will the driverless cars even make these kinds of mistakes?  Under either scenario, mistake or not, how will every single governmental body down to the municipal level replace all that lost revenue generated every year in the issuance of moving violations, driving while license suspended and so on?  (You know they will by other means).  I ask most people and they look at me shocked.

I wouldn't consider them a halo car. That's reserved for the Ford GT type cars that manufacturers build to show their skills and lose money on each one. The GT500 is a top of the line Mustang. They built far too many of them so they will never garner the big collector dollars. They will keep going down in value but still be worth more than a regular GT. A low mileage one in 20 years will command a premium but in 20 years will you be able to even buy gas for it? Bottom line keep it in the stable to beat up on saving your collector cars from abuse and mileage.

Sage advice.

Coming soon to YouTube (hopefully by this weekend), a new terror story, this one about a 427 Cobra.   Anyone willing to donate a picture of their 427 Cobra for the collage as I tell the story are welcome to send said photos to Richardelsliger@comcast.net  I have some stock photos I was able to dredge up on the internet but more is better, especially when telling a tale about a 427!

I had a car bubble for the red one and it worked well for a year and then the zipper broke.  The slider jammed up.  I still use the plastic bottom as a vapor barrier for the 89 Saleen.  I believe it was a Carcoon.  But there are different makers.  Perhaps I just had bad luck with this one.  When it worked it was great I can testify.

This is what motivates the car. I just refreshed it last summer. It's my new Boss block 326 stroker...

Not true as far as I know. Time travel holds an interest for me.

Due process was repealed a long time ago LOL! (de facto if not de jure). It's overrated anyway. 1984. This coffee is double plus good...

Will the Ford GT start losing now? Will a woman be appointed to replace him and save the program? Stay tuned...same Bat time same Bat channel. (dating myself here).
