Wanted to Buy / Re: WTB: Restored Vent Windows for 1967

I assume you are talking about pot metal frame.  The last couple of sets my friend sent to Paul's Classic chrome in Ohio cost $350 per side for ones that were very nice to start with.  The more work, the higher the cost.  The only caveat is that I would specify that they need to be careful not to eliminate the triangular detail in the exterior bottom front.  I have seen ones where the crisp edges have been rounded.

... not sure I appreciate that link while I'm going through the forum with my kids- I have tried to get them involved with the cars and one of the things we do is read through the forum from time to time. There is a time and place for everything, and that stuff shouldn't be here. Garage poster pin ups are one thing, that's different.

Anyone else agree-

My sincere apologies, but I didn't knowingly add any link let alone that one.  I don't know what to say as I have two small kids myself.

At least the pass front floor has been replaced as evidenced by floor drain.  I never understood why someone wouldn't put a correct looking patch/pan in a high dollar car.   Especially if they are leaving the other side alone.

Where do you see that the pass side is different?
Look at the pictures of the pass front floor.  You can see an oval hole stamped in the ribbed area that shouldn't be there.  The drivers side does not have one (and shouldn't have one).   Both sides should  only have ribs.

Found in Mustang GTs and power steering cars
;
Slight modification-The steering boxes for power steering cars and Mustang GT's/GT350's are all the quick ratio (16:1 ratio).  However, the tags would be different HCC-AW and HCC-AX, respectively.  In addition, the only difference between the P/S and manual quick ratio was the bearing load and gear mesh settings when it was built.  So, the tag for a P/S car wouldn't help him.

Wow, I've never seen this before.  My son will get a kick out of it. Thanks!

Yes, that "car" is on display outside at Legoland.  We took my 5 and 9 year olds there in April.

Like S1117 and S1122, S1134, also a February 1966 SAI build has an aluminum case and cast iron tail shaft.

What is the "Shelby Unified Registry"? I never heard of that one. Thanks

It is a piece of paper with the VIN of this car stuck in between the covers of the last SAAC registry for 65-67's.

Is the cost $250k if you provide the K code or $250k inclusive of the car?  If the latter, I would be interested in how they determine the credit when you provide the car.  Regardless, it is a waste of an original K-code.  They make it sound like Pete Brock et al. are wrenching on the cars themselves....

I noticed that the model either couldn't part with her phone/lifeline for the minute it took to take the photo OR she couldn't find a comfortable spot to carry it.

If you are using a reproduction windshield, you may want to consider using the 3/8" butyl tape because the glass is thinner and it can cause the trim to sit lower than original.
