1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Re: Voltage Regulator spec.
September 03, 2019, 10:22:14 AM
Many things will affect voltage. A voltage of near 15 volts indicates a fully charged battery. Voltage regulators operate on the inverse, where low voltage would cause higher amperage output and as battery charged ,and voltage would rise amperage would reduce. That is brief explanation of how a Ford voltage regulator operates.

Nice original covers. Way too nice to toss in dumpster. Need cleaning and paint.

Should be A12,narrow silver band. The X12 and Z12 are the dual point type with wider, gold band.

I found this one in my Kraft auction ,Jan. 2020 box...$275 + shipping. Came with running engine we had for years... May '65 date. Real deal, not a cobbled fake. Nicest one We ever had as rebuildable core. Maybe it should be in classified, but answering a request....only a few requests will go unanswered.....
This has been spoken for. sold

The Whites Pit Stop ,US 30 reunion is great. This year it is held at US 41 dragstrip July 5-7,2019. Lots of old iron and old racers. Go ahead,Google it.....US 41 Morocco ,Indiana. Great place with that down home feeling.

I ran at US 30 in Gary,Indiana from '60's until it closed 1985. I really do not recall that particular car,but the "RT" designation was used for the "dial-in" class called "Run Tuff",later called "RTE" for Run Tuff Eliminator. 12.50 or faster e.t. Required. They also had the ET brackets that were designated "ET" and number for brackets 5-10. Try searching some old sponsors like White's Pit Stop (my sponsor) or King Speed shop,or Van Senus. Many old pictures are starting to show up on the web....

Sounds like he took lessons from one of the other crooks on Ebay......theblue302,is also mysunshine302,and the grabber302. All the same thief, Mike Gehly,York,Pa. He has been ripping people off for years on Ebay. Restamps distributors and prints Ford boxes. Until Ebay stops these crooks (not likely, they just state seller is responsible ) all we can do is expose them to protect each other.

Up For Auction / Re: Possible Scam??

Without seeing it in person I think it has potential. If most parts are there and useable it becomes a better deal. If the key parts to make it complete are missing then that is another story. Lately all you need to do is primer it black, pile straw and chicken crap on it,let air out of tires and call it "barn find" and someone will step up and over pay  8)
If it was mine I would want more for it! Show me another one for sale for under $50K

Looks like the pictures were taken in NJ  ;)
