I hear a lot of talk about how the GT500's especially with inboards can overheat.  Is this a real problem and is there something I should do to head this off? Not use stock radiator, fan etc? Will have everything newly rebuilt, engine, water pump, clutch fan on and on.  Or will this really not be a problem?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / exhaust manifold numbers
December 23, 2018, 08:16:13 AM
I'm sure this have been gone over a lot in the past but maybe has been erased over time.  The exhaust manifolds for my '67 GT500 are in terrible shape and not able to read the numbers and really not even sure if they are correct to begin with. So i need to fine a good set.   I see conflicting posts of what the car should have, GT390 manifolds, specific to 428 ones, etc and It should have C6OE or C7OE drivers side witch one etc.  Then there is the from a mustang only 390 engine? So what #'s should it have and how to tell if it will fit in the Mustang etc.  It has the correct 14 bolt heads and was built in Jan '67 in case they changed through the year.  Any help will be great

On my 67 I need to replace the mesh that covered the opening of where the door speaker would go.  Its in the aluminum trim that goes on the door that also covers the light.  Does anyone know of a material that will be accurate for replacement?

I have an "s" scratch 428 block with a very early Jan 1967 date.  I'm having trouble getting information on it.  So does any one know about them like what the s stands for, how many were produced etc?
