I will wait to see what the answer is.....I am thinking they are all CHINA. I am tired of parts for these cars from substandard countries!!! Yeah, I am bitching, did NOT like the news today, I almost feel I rather have used original parts.

If the need is for non "Concours" type cables I would consider buying a kit online to make your own or order a custom set from a place like this. Made in the U.S.A.

+1 for driver car. For concours correct the Marti made cables are the closest to original.

+2 for driver.

On my old '69 with the 428, it would not start hot like most. So I made my own from #0 welding cable. Yes, oversized and not correct, but it would spin no matter what!

Alloy Metal Products sells battery cables. I can not vouch for the historical accuracy, but I can tell you they also make a "heavy duty" version with a heavier cable.

They are made in the US.

Haven't seen the battery cables made by Alloy Metal but if the stuff I've bought from them is any indication they should be pretty good.  I'd use them.

Mansfield Mustang offers a repro battery cable with the look of the originals including ink stamped part # and correct terminals but a much thicker cable. Part #BC-4B-HD. I installed on our '67 GT500 and have not had a starting issue since.

I bought cables from Marti. Right after I was having a hot restart problem.

In my "highly scientific analysis" I determined that "it might" be a voltage drop and decided to try something radical.

I bought 2 aught cables from these guys and the problem went away.

They are in the US but look out...they could be of Chinese descent or eat a lot of Chinese take out!  ;)

thanks,
I should mention for clarification that the extra thick wires are very helpful on a GT500 but fortunately the GT350 can typically use the smaller gauge stock wires without issue .

One thing to check is that the post coming out of the starter that the cable connects to is firmly attached. The post will have two nuts on it. The lower nut on the post can sometimes work loose, the post is then a little loose and the cable will not have a good connection to the starter.
1) remove the battery cables from the battery
2) under the car, remove the top nut from the post on the starter
3) remove the battery cable
4) **snug the lower nut nice and tight to secure the post to the starter
5) clean the battery cable lead as long as you have it off
6) install the cable and top nut
7) install the battery cables to the battery
