It means that you can not post a comment on the topic. Sometimes the moderator will lock a thread because things were going wrong.  If it a for sale item then you use the private message system to ask your questions.

You can also lock your own threads, if you dont like the way people are posting responses.

Thank you---to me IMO remarks by knowledgeable members about product or seller have saved me a lot of money money and aggravation , I consider that as guide and help to us new collectors, and have never seen comment as derogatory or malicious but look at it as help to keep us new members being subjected to misrepresented products.

Thats because the nonsense can be deleted by the moderator, before locking it down.

Yes the moderator is very vigilant about what you can and cannot post in the For Sale section. The rest of the forum, not so much.  ;)

I like spirited talk, but some don't. Som cannot handle it. That depends on what it is or was that is means or is is?
