Looking for any early media or articles from the 60's about the supercharged 67 GT350's. I've got a couple magazines from 66 covering he 1966 Paxton cars but can't find anything on the 67's.
Anyone know of existing early articles on these cars?

I have collected for years and have not come across any.
I have not seen any either. A later possibility is: How to Build Supercharged & Turbocharged Small-Block Fords - by Bob McClurg (Paperback), which has an article about Paradise Wheels installing a Paxton supercharger in a small block 1967 GT350.
Just as the others mention, I've never come across an original '67 article noting/showing a Paxton supercharger either.
I have numerous issues from the time period as well as photos of them too...even some off brand magazines.
I have not found or seen any old magazine articles on a '67 Paxton 350 either.
It would've been very cool if, back in the day, one of the magazines would've tested a new 1967 Shelby GT500 against a new 1967 GT350 Paxton equipped car. I think the test results would've resulted in more Paxton cars being sold, granted they were pushing the new 428PI GT500.
That would have been a cool comparison. I had a 66 Fastback with a Paxton I'd take to car shows and when people would ask if that was a factory option I'd show them vintage articles with the 66 Paxton cars. I have a Paxton on my 67 GT350 now and I'd like to be able have articles to show that it was an option for 67 cars too but so far no luck with the old magazines.
Hi Guys, I just saw this thread and I happen to have exactly what you're searching for! The attachment was in the March 1967 issue of Hot Rod. I put a Paxton on my '67 and came across this on eBay a while back. -Ryan

I admire your spirit. Thank you for contributing. FYI 67 GT350's have power steering which required a different compressor bracket then the earlier 66's used. Although in a March 67 magazine the advertisement has a picture showing a 66 configured engine .
Bob, thanks for clarifying on the engine photo and I certainly have no reason to doubt that the picture itself is that of a 1966 setup. In fact, it makes total sense to me that they would have simply reused an existing photo since the changes were so minor for '67. However, even though it isn't a full article, the advertisement's print specifically reads, "An original equipment option on the fabulous new 1967 GT 350," and I believe that's what Fastback66 was searching for.

Not to belabor the point but the OP was looking for Magazine articles as the topic description implies. What you posted is not a article partial or otherwise but a period advertisement with no significant informational content. Thank you for posting anyway since it all is interesting.
Is it odd that the article never mentions that it was a "Paxton" unit?
SURVIVOR,
You made me stop and think about that.
We have two sets here so I went and looked at each tag.
Paxton is in tiny lettering on the tag, "fine print", COBRA is big letters
The other one has a Paxton chrome label with red lettering NO COBRA
Tag like the old Cosby cobra had in original pictures.

Thanks, I have that ad as well.
