Title: Battery Hold Down
Post by: sfm5s081 on February 26, 2018, 06:50:34 PM
So I was looking at my battery tray and noticed that the holes for the posts to secure the battery are in different positions. They are diagonal and not straight across like on my 65 or 66 car. Can someone please send me a pic of what the battery hold down looks like?

Hold down is a coated section of bent metal designed to be mounted on an angle when compared to the top of the battery.

This battery hold down bracket is a 65 Ford part and was also used by Shelby
on some of the 65 GT350s with rear mounted batteries including mine #275.
