Title: Magstar lug nut torque
Post by: Skidado on August 25, 2019, 09:42:12 AM
Just spent half an hour on the interweb looking for the correct lug nut torque for Magstars on a '67 GT350. I thought this would be an easy search as I've looked it up before, but no luck this time!  What changed?

Anyway... could someone let me know the correct torque setting please?

Many thanks

David

I always did 85 ft lbs. and recheck them after about 50 miles - never had any problem.

+1  I've been cautiously using 80-85 because mine look like the lug nuts have dug into the center section with previous owner and wanted to be careful.  Haven't had any issues.

I use 75 lbs. on mine.  Check them after driving and they are always tight.
