I believe it was a repro hood based on the picture but would have made good wall art at that price.

Hi Bob,
Do you remember the asking price? If it was in the $400 to $600 range, that would suggest repop or aftermarket. If it was $2000 to $10,000, that could suggest original, but not necessarily. It could be mistaken identity too as original.
