Not that this audience wouldn't get it but this is a 385 series engine series block.

Big question is what head did it run? These make FE (or BBC) engines look like child's play.

Yes, it is a 385 series aluminum block.  It had modified Edelbrock heads installed.  It would like hemi style heads better (:
