I saw the car in person but it was hard to tell how well it was done from behind a rope. I didn't get to see when it sold- anyone see how much it went for?
Hammered at $150k.
Can some post a link, car #?

Strong $$ for modified and color change car.

Speaks volumes as to the credibility of B-J!
$225 is "I've had a few too many drinks money"

As Hockeylife hints; Fake Sale?
Did the police Innercepter" originally have only dated casting for identity? My 69 Mach 1 had numbers at the back of the block on a Cobra jet engine that matched the vin ?
I think I'm answering my own question! Only the 350's because ford installed it !
Was on Ebay last year. No didn't follow that auction either

So are those the"original style"(Eleanor) wheels its wearing??
Also isn't it kinda late production for the rear valance metal trim?
Date coded Eleanor wheels!
Seems like it was still a little overpriced IMO but it is a pretty car for someone to enjoy.

Yes. Previously discussed here:

Yes, it was listed several times on eBay in Dec 2018 and Jan 2019, but as Buy it Now for $179,000.00, not auction. Here is an example:

Same DSO 2566 group and finished a few days apart at SJ as #1183. Doesn't mean much about valance though. However, #1194 was finished at SA about 3 weeks earlier than #1183. #1183 has the rear valance metal trim.
