For years I have been searching for a Mach I with the factory optional L-88 hood, but am not sure if the glove box signature is real or not. ::)
Opinions?

At 34,420 miles I don't think I'd be overly concerned 8). I'd be more concerned that my foot would slip off the fancy brake and clutch pedals!
Real ? Yea, REAL bad ! :o

The "factory roll cage" is an even more obscure option like one of NONE.
C'mon guys! The car is obviously a trophy magnet! So what if they're bowling trophies?
IF I was Carroll Shelby and someone asked me to sign the glove box door of THAT car, I believe that I would have signed it exactly that way - make the owner happy and have complete deniability.
For those of you with an interest here is a better link showing the "factory" roll cage and custom exhaust cutouts: https://www.feelgoodmotorsinc.net/1970-Ford-Mustang/Used-AmericanMuscleCar/DicksonCity-PA/11156028/Details.aspx (https://www.feelgoodmotorsinc.net/1970-Ford-Mustang/Used-AmericanMuscleCar/DicksonCity-PA/11156028/Details.aspx)
I think I have a rarer car, its the only one at the show with NO signature!
Back in 86 I had Shelby himself sign my car, right on the hood! You should have heard the people gasping! I loved it and so did he. The next owner, buffed it off!
Today, I have another Shelby with no signature, and I will NEVER BUY a glove box/visor with his signature and put it in my car, that is just not right!
That signature is the lesser know CErroll Shelby , he was a plant worker at the Dearborn Assembly plant. Glove box installation was his specialty.
Forgery 101 requires you try find an original signature to copy, obviuosly a point missed here
that is really funny if someone said that was an original signature
Can always contact the seller to find out... ::)
He must be terrible. One star with 228 reviews.
inline 4 speed is rare. is it the copper gear one? phred
I think the signature's legit........in a parallel universe.
351 Cleveland but he puts 428 on the Fenders. BUT, after all the fun and games, it is a pretty good Price for a MACH 1.
I can not believe you would doubt that any of those fine additions are not legit!!!
A Kopec April Fool's photo?
How about all the glove box doors he signed upside down.....
Really amazing Mustang. No mention of the original muffler bearings, however. 8)

Half the sale price was spent on electrical tape to pad the rare roll cage.
LOL, I haven't stopped laughing!!
