Title: attaching the front grille molding strips on 1968 Shelby
Post by: JWH on March 10, 2019, 10:31:16 PM
Moving to the front of our GT350 and the front molding -- I have found a set of clips to attach the front grille molding from Branda:

What hardware was used by the factory to attach these clips?
Thanks
Jeff

There is a metal sleeve the branda clip pushes into. The original clips were different dimensions and green in color

Sometimes referred to as a barrel clip/nut.

By the way, those trim clips from Branda.......originals did not have the white cushion donuts, if you want a correct installation look.
