Have a 70 worked when I pulled it out in the late 80s early 90s. If you are interested I can dig it out and get you some pictures.

Keep in mind that the 1968 8-track utilizes shorter volume/tuning control shafts which can create a problem when using year specific knobs. The 1969 & 1970 each use the longer shafts.
