Title: replace 1968 Instrument Cluster question
Post by: Corey Bowcutt on December 26, 2018, 12:08:18 PM
I am replacing the instrument cluster bezel on my 1968 GT350.  I found an original with the chrome around the high beam indicator horse. Anyway, I am having trouble separating the instrument cluster from the old bezel because I can not figure out how to remove the shaft/knob that is used to reset the rip odometer.  I do not want top break anything so before I force it I figured I would consult the experts.  What is the trick to removing this?

Unscrew it counterclockwise.

pull it out, holding tension on the knob, unscrew counter clockwise. if it is stuck on, pull out hold shaft with small needlenose pliers, unscrew. phred
