I don't like to comment on peoples cars, but that glove box signature!!
And then I read the text.... It wasn't signed by Carroll Shelby after all. It was signed by Carl.. whew!

I got my first laugh of the day.
I'm relieved it's registered with Ford!!
A lightly stamped R in that VIN?

Carl was his lesser known brother. The "black sheep" of the family. He customized Thunderbirds.

Yeah that was Carl alright. He always had that tick and stagger that prevented him from performing in the same circles as his brother. It was the chickens they say-- stayin' too long with 'em while Carroll traveled the world. The condition was a known hazard for generations, and source of the term: chicken scratch, for right'en.
Carl is Pookie's cousin!
With the sellers name Chevych1 maybe he was trying to sell a rare Camaro or he might be trying to annoy the Ford owners
Spellcheck
The plastic wrap over the signature is a nice touch although judging from the looks of it he should have used aluminum foil. :(
Carl had to sign it as his sister Carol was too busy that day
Carroll signed this upside down after depleting half a bottle of 75 year old single malt scotch.
