Post by: Tor on October 31, 2018, 03:20:19 PM
Hello
What is the price of a set with those carbs with matching dates worth?
They are used but not worn out,but need a new plating etc, they also have the brass floats in them
They both have the 4731 metring plate installed.

Regards

Carl's Ford repop'd them for $1395.  I have seen originals go around $1500 to $2000 depending on dates and how complete and correct they are.

Not sure of the production run dates but anything in the 5** is a good date..

What dates do you have?

Hello Greg

The date code is 502. If you could PM me your e-mail adress I can send you some pictures. I"m in the process of sending them to Joe Bunetic fore "tune up". I"m interested to get the value right on them if they should get lost in the DHL system.

+1 the 715cfm carbs are a good choice for many applications. I have some of them as well as the BT-BU 780 cfm carbs. Value suggested is spot on.
