Were the extensions the extend from the rear of the front bumper painted?

painted black so they match the black bumper arm that bolts to it.

I thought the bumper arms that the bumper bolts on to was painted slop gray? Is it just the fender support that bolts the fender to the bumper arm that's supposed to be slop gray then?

Yes, fender support is slop gray.Arms are semi gloss black.

The other dearborn parts are slop grey but a o smith added the 69 shelby unique bumper arms & triangular center grill support brackets & they were black.
