Title: Something froze over -- 01375 has been painted
Post by: Bossbill on November 02, 2026, 01:20:41 PM
I'm not going into the history of 01375, since that has already been posted on concoursmustang.com along with various restoration pics, but thought an update here would be appropriate. Hope this is the right spot for this since I can't find anywhere else.

This is a Glasurit 55 base/clear Canadian mix formula. Multiple spray-outs compared to original paint cars using a sun-gun appear to validate the color.

I have noticed this color can look very different depending on lighting and angle, so don't use the spray booth color as "true." Engine compartment final color is next.

Let the installation of parts begin!

That pic was posted in the WASAAC website. That was 3 houses and 4 major house remodels ago. It figures you would drag that out!

In between I constructed a 24x24 add-on to the shop with scissor trusses tall enough for a 2 post lift. I'm done with creepers.
