Post by: crxnug on October 17, 2026, 07:03:10 PM
Where is the best place to have a 1966 Gt350 Carryover tach restored somewhat , The tach itself is in great shape, it works, face is really nice, its perfect other then someone hacked the wiring out the back of the gauge, I know there use to be a place but the owner passed away, Is there anywhere else you would trust to make it correct, any help would be much appreciated

I heard these guys are good, but not used them. Phil was awesome.

Hi CRXNUG,

Please let us know where you decide to take you tachometer, how much the wire replacement cost and how happy you were with the results.  This place Mo-Ma looks expensive.

Phil was the best.  I like the one man operation.  You could talk to the guy that was actually making the repairs and restoration.  RIP

Thank you

Cory

I had my tach done by MoMa about 20 years ago and was able to talk with Margaret, the owner and the person she had that was actually doing the work. He explained I detail what they found, what he proposed to do and answered all questions. It was done in less than a week
Biggest delay was in shipping, both there and back. Tach has worked flawlessly since

At one point, you could get Faria themselves to go through it.

Now I don't even know if Faria still exists, but they did it for quite a while after production of the Shelby's ended.
