My original FMX lost reverse today, and has been acting up for a while. Can anyone recommend a good rebuilder preferably in Pennsylvania or a neighboring state. I'm also not against putting it on a pallet and shipping it. Thanks.
They are an easy transmission to rebuild if you are willing to take on the work. If not there is a very good shop in NY that does a lot of classic cars. Competition transmission in N. Tonawanda. Close to Buffalo

Thanks for the referral but they don't answer their phones, and their mailbox is full.

Unusual for them. Must be really busy.

Have you checked with the Lehigh Valley SAAC group for am recommendation?
Bill, it shows he's in SW Florida so recommendations in PA probably won't do him much good.

I'm in PA during summers and I keep the Shelby in PA as well. Competition Transmissions did answer and said they do not rebuild FMX transmissions. They don't really do C6s very often either. It appears that very few parts are offered for the FMX based on my recent searches. They are rapidly becoming extinct.
We can handled it for you - give me a call
