My dad sold his car in 1992 to two brothers from Windsor Ontario. I ran into someone at a car show Sunday with my '70 Gt-500 tribute and he mentioned that there was someone selling one in Lasalle Ontario that has it. I know the one brother who passed away, however I can't for the life of me remember his last name. The brothers apparently had four Shelby's, one was their dads, and they had purchased additional.
I don't have a VIN anymore (We put the GT500 plates on our '70 Tribute car) however
- 69 GT350 - Swapped in a 302 with T5 and rack and pinion.
- Fastback
- Gulfstream aqua original colour, and it was repainted as so.
- 4 Speed car originally
- Black interior
- No AC
- My father was the second owner, unknown previous owner.
Let me know if anyone knows of it! I'd love to get it back!

Yes it was a fastback.
No, he bought it from a gentleman who was the original owner, it had been previously hit in the drivers door and parked in a backyard on Byng st. in Windsor. My dad bought it in 1975.
Historically in Windsor, there was Moe Campbell Ford Dealer on Mcdougal and Tecumseh rd E, there was a Dingwal Ford, and in Essex there was a Essex Farmer Ford. I'd lean toward Moe Campbell being the most likely place of original purchase.
Dingwall was likely the Shelby dealer
