I joined the club yesterday with the purchase of a 1968 Shelby GT500 #70 in the registry - it is a one owner car and a time capsule and I plan on keeping it that way. Thanks to a couple of members that helped guide me through the process - I want name them because I didn't ask their permission first but glad to be part of the community
Congratulations! Enjoy it!
Welcome, there are a lot of helpful people here. I like to say the most knowledgable on the subject of vintage Shelbys
That car has dome unique early features, so never throw anything away
Would love to see some pictures.
Congratulations.
Corey

Welcome aboard!
glad to hear that story - and welcome to the Club 8)
Congratulations, welcome to the club.
Someone I know sent me a "car sightings" picture the other day...was this car in Salem, Mass.?
congrats & great 1st Shelby
Nice ride!Welcome to the club!
To the question about location - yes it was in Salem - One owner car with a book of documentation back to purchase including original invoice (all have been authenticated) - the gentleman that owned it passed away and his wife immediately listed the car as she "hated the car" husband told her he was going to the grocery store one Saturday and came back with a Shelby. Car is a true time capsule but not perfect of course - but I am going to keep it as is how is and enjoy it - once I get it in my possession I will post some more pictures - Thank you for the comments
Probably one of the most complete cars I've ever seen. Only thing changed on undercarriage is gas tank but the original came with it
Sounds incredibly original. Hope to see it someday. Congratulations and welcome.
