Title: Leaf spring arching, east coast?
Post by: CharlesTurner on June 23, 2026, 10:17:02 PM
I have some original leaf '66 springs that need a slight tweak on the arching.  Anyone know a place on the US east coast that still does this kind of work?

Thanks

I am fortunate in that there is a spring company about a mile from me here in KC that does re arching and de arching in the case of many modern one size fits all replacements. Most have closed up shop, retired or died.

Stanley Springs is located here in Harrisburg,PA. They are a full service spring and repair facility in business since 1922.

I have been doing business with them since the late 1960's, most recently to dearch the rear springs in '66 GT350 that I had acquired as an uncompleted restoration. As always, I was very pleased with the results.

I could not find a direct web site but here is a link you may find useful:

Being as Harrisburg is midway between the major car shows in Carlisle and Hershey, you may know someone from your area attending those events who could hand carry them to Stanley.
