1967 Shelby GT500 #0410 (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-shelby-mustang-gt500-35/)

This 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 is one of 2,048 fastbacks produced for the model year and was completed on January 5th. It was first delivered to Brondes Motor Sales in Toledo, Ohio, and it was specified in Nightmist Blue with black Décor upholstery, the Extra Cooling Package, the Interior Décor Group, a fold-down rear seat, a tachometer and trip odometer, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, and a 428ci Police Interceptor V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was restored and is believed to have been with a single family for ~30 years before it was acquired by the current owner in 2019. This GT500 is now offered on dealer consignment with an Elite Marti Report, the owner's manual, and an Arizona title.

The 15″ five-spoke Magstar alloy wheels were restored and mounted with reproduction Goodyear Polyglas tires. GT500 models utilized an upgraded suspension system with heavy-duty coil springs and an anti-roll bar up front in addition to heavy-duty leaf springs out back. The car is equipped with power steering, and stopping is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The woodgrain steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. Two Stewart-Warner gauges are mounted in pods ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows under 25k miles, fewer than 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 428ci Police Interceptor V8 was factory equipped with dual four-barrel Holley carburetors and was rated at 335 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. The car was equipped from the factory with a larger radiator as part of the optional Extra Cooling Package. The engine was reportedly rebuilt and balanced as part of the restoration work.
