What is the reason I have a 8T52 21 instead of a 8T02R21 on my inter front fender .

Stamping error

There are other examples of stampings that are similar

Several of our cars had stamping errors.  On one car the R was missing on both fender stampings, another had the last number missing on both fender stampings, and on a third the windshield tag was 8T01 instead of 8T02 on a fastback.
