Title: Magnum 500 restoration
Post by: GeotechDuck on May 31, 2026, 11:30:47 PM
Any recommendations for restoring Magnum 500s?  I have more than just surface rust.  Not ready to pull the trigger yet, just trying to get prepared.

Hi GeotechDuck,

Bill Collins said in another post:

"Here is some info from a post I made in 2018:
I had a set of 14 x 6 Hertz Magnums restored a few years ago by Pico wheel in California.  They have been been in business since the 1920's and know what they are doing. Reasonable turnaround time, not inexpensive but the work was outstanding.  http://picowheel.com/contact/"

Give them a call.  Please let us know what they say.

Best of luck

Cory

Thank you, Cory. I am in NorCal. So not too far.  Will try and connect with them.
