Please make sure you read my entire post before you reply - I want you to understand exactly what you're getting here. What I'm selling here is a set of four Shelby 10 spoke aluminum wheels. Included with the wheels are the original center caps, but NO lug nuts. The wheels are in good shape overall considering their age - they wouldn't look terrible on a low grade driver or survivor, but they need to be restored if you intend to install them on a nice car. They have some minor, but repairable curb rash and need a good polishing. No cracks or damage beyond curb rash. These are genuine original Shelby wheels, NOT modern reproductions. Craig at Paradise Wheels is the fellow I would talk to about restoring them if you want to go that route.
Included here are pictures of the front and back sides of all four wheels. Three of the wheels have the engineering number (57MS-1007-D) cast inside the spokes on the rear, but the fourth wheel has excessive stubborn brake dust buildup inside the spokes and the number is not readily visible. I can try to find a more effective way to scrub them to look for it if necessary, but the wheel seems to match the other three in all other ways. It has the same rough cast backside, the same surface texture inside the spokes on the face, same valve stem location, etc. everything appears the same, so I assume it is from the same time period. Please look at all the pictures closely and if you have concerns I can take more pictures.
These are 15x7" wheels that are correct for 1967 and 1968 Shelby models. They clear four piston Kelsey Hayes brake calipers without issue, but may not clear the single piston calipers on 1968 models without a little clearancing or spacers on the front.
Edit: These wheels all have flat face lug holes. They are version IV wheels, per Coralsnake's ten spoke wheel page.
I'm located just outside of Reno, Nevada. Price is $2,200 for the set of four wheels with four center caps. They are available for local cash pickup in person, or I may be able to deliver them for additional cost within a few hundred miles. I'm also willing to ship them within the US at your expense using your preferred method. I can double package them in padded wheel boxes and ship them UPS, but my recommendation would be to spend just a little more for me to securely double package them in wheel boxes with padding (which I have), then strap them down to a pallet and ship them truck freight. Yes, this is a somewhat more expensive method, but I believe it to be far safer since you won't have low-wage goofballs just throwing your delicate and difficult to replace wheels around. Besides it's only a few hundred bucks or so for truck freight, depending on where they're going - well worth the peace of mind to know that they will show up undamaged. Regardless, I'll ship them however you choose, at your expense, with whatever level of insurance to want to pay for.
*IMPORTANT* I do NOT use paypal or any other form of electronic payment. I will accept cash in person or US postal money order for payment ONLY. I have sold items to a couple of forum members here, as well as many others for many years using this method. I understand if it makes you leery, but nevertheless it's the only option I'm offering if you are long distance. I'm old school and stubborn, what can I say. When you reply, please be sure to include your phone number. We'll chat on the phone, I can send you any additional pictures you like, and if you want them shipped I'll send you a picture of my driver's license, which has my address on it that you'll be shipping your money orders to. No riskier than sending money to someone using paypal, it just means you have to go to the post office is all.
Pictures to follow in the next post.
I have a few other things I will be posting in the coming days as well. Keep an eye out for them.
