Local auto upholstery shops can sew the trim attached to the carpeting.

I am looking for someone to sew the console lid where the stitching has failed. Thanks

Your going to want to have the lid hand stitched to re-use the original sewed holes.  Otherwise, new holes could make the cover vulnerable to just tearing, like a perforation.  I would just had sew myself.  How is the foam underneath?  This might be good time to refresh the foam as well.

Best of luck

Foam is good , just the stitching has let go in a small area. Does it need to been taken apart to resew it?

IIRC, the underside has a plate with screws.  Remove screws, disassembly, remove cover, resew and then reassembly.  You will need to purchase a more robust thread than retrieving some light duty thread from your wife's sewing basket.  LOL
