Title: Koni Shock Part Numbers?
Post by: JWH on April 23, 2026, 12:14:17 PM
Hello, I've searched and have not found the part numbers for Koni shocks originally installed on Shelby's. What are the correct part numbers stamped in the shocks front and rear?
Also, I understand the original shocks have a date code. How would I decode the date? Thanks in advance.

Since this is the 66 Section must at least mention that most 66's didn't come equipped with Konis but adjustable Gabriel shocks instead.

Date codes for originals and early replacements were easy - Example 11-64  decodes as Nov 1964

Fronts - 82-1326
Rears - 82-1327

Some of the threads that search turned up. Used the words "Koni part number"

Thanks for confirming the part numbers. I saw several different part numbers in several different searches and wasn't sure what part numbers came on the original shocks and what might be aftermarket. This is very helpful.
