Post by: 21.04 on April 21, 2026, 01:48:48 PM
Looking for an OEM 66-67 pass side rear spring shackle with C6DA stamped on the inside of the removable plate. It's for a thoroughbred. No pits or un natural marks.

Matt

I have a pair of NOS 65-66 ones and they do not have anything on them. The only parts with Ford numbers are the rubbers.

For those reading there are a couple of different style shackles that were sold in the Ford parts department. Some sets were like assemblyline and others not. The last ones that were serviced before they went obsolete were made of a lot thicker steel when compared to the assemblyline shackles.

Just got home from parts hauling trip to billups oklahoma shop so will try and find mine as i am wondering if u want just the end plate with c6da # or the studs end also?  The 71 and up were sold under a d1zz# and are factory correct being a thicker metal plate since the 71 up cars were bigger and heavier so they need beefed up as i seen thinner early year shakles bent.

If you had any stud ends that are pit free piece with good threads, I'd be interested in the whole shackle.
