I had these for years and never knew what they are used for. Any help would be appreciated.

Water pump outlet caps.
They are used on cars with heater delete.
They need to be kept an eye on if used because the aged rubber can give way. Don't ask me how I know. ::) Consequently now I thread the inlets and outlets for installing an Allen head plug and use the caps to disguise the plugs.
Smart.
Appreciate the replies.
