Title: Alum duel quad Manifold
Post by: csheff on March 25, 2026, 01:47:47 PM
Hi,
What finish is correct for the manifold (500) bolts. I seen two types blackish finish amk from NPD and silver finish directly from amk both stating for 67 GT-500. Any help guys?

No finish. Natural as cast. Dry Ice blasting is the best method it doesn't effect the original surface.

If you are speaking of the intake bolts then they were zinc silver originally. The factory cast iron intake bolts are dark gray which was is phosphate and oil.
