Wisconsin is Americas Dairyland
This made my morning!!!
I would assume that a vehicle receiving the full barn find package could up the selling price in the right venue, with the usual ringmasters. 10% + ? Im in.
Good stuff!
Derrière (Dairy Air) is a French word that means the part of the body a person sits on, commonly referred to as the buttocks. It is often used in a humorous or euphemistic context.
Kool barn photo pete never seen them 2 types of barns put together before. We had 2 AOSMITH harvestor silos on our farm we put up in 1969. Are wisconsin cheese curds included on the barn find package deal?
LOL.
Thanks, I needed a good laugh this morning.
Good stuff Pete!
As a certain YouTube automotive personality would say: "Outstanding!"
How long does it take to get the appropriate amount of "dust", thickness wise?
I'm sure DC will show up to make a YouTube video.
"Pete D's Barn Walk complete with Barn Walk branded hantavirus Mask"
Can you imagine riding around in that car after 40 plus years of saturation?
"Barn Find", aka., just another abandoned old vehicle that's in ruff shape and looks it! ;)
I find it absolutely amazing, that this 'yarn' of declaring something a "Barn Find", which has been nurtured and now provides an enhanced value, that of which 'actually' is nothing more than obvious neglect, this with the intention for sellers to reap a greater monetary gain without the investment of time, effort or expense required to 'actually' enhance the condition state (not even a wash job! ::) ) and value, . . . . . and the buying public is swallowing this B.S. "hook line and sinker"! :o
Scott.

Don't forget the "Barn Find" NIKE's.
A point well made
"Barn find" should not be a plus.
You know...
You're laughing at "barn finds"...
But when you drive by one in the country and the door is open and there's old vehicles inside do you slow down?
In related news...
October 2024
Vermont...
I was told that a guy had a tired old 66 GT 350 in his barn..
The guy that told me was mistaken.
It was a 65 GT 350
Just sayin'
I thought this was an AO Smith silo......
I can imagine how that meeting went. Hey we gotta shut down the water heater line. Ford wants us to make some plastic parts like our Corvette ones and slap them on Mustangs.
How about a "barn find" AO Smith emblem.
Image above rotated...
Thank you. I am going to restore it someday!!

Maybe but our cows are happier. At least that is what the stated paid $33 Million dollars telling us.

Yeah but wisconsin cheeseheads make the best cheese curds.
For the full effect some sell the barn find dirt, mouse/rat droppings, original air in the spare tire and parade it around to the BIG SHOWS in Texas, then ask a premium for AS FOUND CONDITION! I think that ship has sailed possibly.
At a past National SAAC Convention dinner program, Carroll Shelby was speaking at the podium, and he described someone (a past Shelby driver or Company staff?) in this manner: "Why, he couldn't drive a wheelbarrow through an open barn door!"
Does anyone else remember this, and which (year) National SAAC convention?
Are cloned barns allowed for speculation? Will there be a TAB (Try A Barn) site? The mind wanders at this age. Sorry.

All the wax companies seem to sell detail kits. Maybe there is a market for a barn find kit. You could even include a barn background someone could green screen their "find" into. Don't forget to include the Lucas smoke for that Cobra barn find.

Kinda makes you wonder who's milking who.

How much does that super sized poop add to the car?
These "barn finds" are actually starting to gross me out, but I guess barn find sounds better than "rat infested pee pad"
I am not sure if it would change any of the fan boys minds, but do a little research before you start saying "drive it like it is"

Well that explains some of the heavy repair and panel replacement under the car shown, kind of, in the ad BAT pictures
I would say 100% large parts have been repainted
The damage pointed out above in wheel house was a good catch.
The stripes are not original, the hood is red oxide primer and a few other items.
They do look like older front fenders and original fiberglass from what I can see.
The lack of a power steering oil cooler would likely indicate some major repairs
I guess the sellers definition of "survivor" is radically different than mine.
🤷🏼

But, in light of it all: "the bids just keep coming!" :o
"Fools and their money soon part"! I got that part, but I'm just trying to figure out where they get the money to squander in the first place? :-\
Scott.
Well, heres one of those guys and his story. You just have the money, so you buy the cars.
