Looked in search, I am looking to see if anyone has any info on the screw for the ground for the trunk lamp.
Also is it the same acrew for the lamp on the decklid.
AMK lists one for 1969 but doesn't say it is for a Shelby

I would seriously consider you contact AMK products, as they have a huge passion for fasteners and they offer fasteners not found elsewhere.
Best of luck on your endeavors

Looks like the same. All you really need do it to go to the local hardware store and pick up a few
Four close ups of the lamp end screw you asked about from unrestored examples. For others remember the whole grounding wire/lower screw detail is a sport-roof/fastback detail thing :) Before someone asks the top two are sport roofs (reason for the ground wire) and the bottom two convertibles. But all same screw at this end.

Home this helps
Correct phillips ground screw since this was a unique a o smith shelby fastback only thing due to fastback all fiberglass decklid vs metal lower and upper fiberglass on the convertibles so they ground like the rest of mustangs. Remember the trunk light was pre installed on 69-70 shelbys so the wiring got body color paint sprayed over it depending on how it was taped to decklid bottom or waded up pushed in the decklid hinge hole eith way they always have some body color sprayed on wiring.

On the other end of that wire Ed refers to is the trunk light fixture that a piece of masking tape was placed over the trunklight hole in the trunklid to cover the bulb so it wouldn't be covered with paint. The portion of the metal light fixture that didn't get covered with tape typically got covered with paint however just like the wire on the other end. I think it has been about 40 years since Ed first pointed that detail out to me. How time flies.
Thanks guys appreciate the help. I found the actual number in the "69-70 Shelby unique parts catalog" keep forgetting about that book. And here I didn't think you or Ed were a day over 40 lol.

Yes been 45 years ago i started collecting mustangs shelby boss and ford parts. The trunk light bulb area usually has signs of tape still left on with paint overspray see jeffs photo.

For ref. This is the original overspray on my convertible wiring.
