Title: Floor Console Shifter Bezel
Post by: Almostthere on November 17, 2025, 11:35:03 AM
What is the correct 4-speed shifter bezel? I am in need of one for my console and I don't think the one Branda has is correct. Is it just a Mustang floater bezel (part# C5ZZ-762-C) or something Shelby specific?

In the video (~12sec) and picture I've attached it looks like the chrome shifter bezel was intended to be longer (more rectangular) than the C5ZZ part and never made it into production, but maybe it's my eyes playing tricks on me.

There was a thread on this forum within the last few years discussing ways to use felt and other methods to prevent the floating bezel from scratching the console's woodgrain veneer.

Thanks Pete! figured you were familiar with the video.
