I have a Holley S2MS 9510 A List 3259-1 with a 3-digit date code of 993. Seems like a 1966/1967 Shelby carb, but the date cade is throwing me off. Did Holley make these in 1969 as a service replacement?
Any thoughts on what vehicle it could have been made for and what value it may have?

It is a 1969 service replacement carb for a 65-67 GT350.
Agreed, with that date code (993) it would be a "service replacement" example.
Additionally, looking in the "Holley Carburetor Numerical Listing" book, "3259A" is stated as intended for the "1965 Ford Cobra-Mustang Hi-Perf.", the "3259A1" is stated as being for the "1965-66 Ford & Mustang Cobra 289 eng." and then the "3259-1" as being the "service replacement" for such. With the latter "1" suffixed examples displaying the "S2MS-9510A" manufacturer number :)
Am I to assume that this Holley Listing just wasn't updated for 1967 vehicle production as a carry-over? :-\

Yes, I have had a ton of 68/69/70 ones in here. i can only assume Ford sold a bunch of these over the counter.
Good news, all the ones I've seen are pretty much the same in any way to any other 3259-1
Just curious: Might that part number have come in a "Cobra Kit" package?

This is apparently a example of what the "book" says and how they appeared on the cars are two different things .The 65 GT350 carb had the 3259 list number only and not the S2MS number. The later 66 and 67 had the 3259-1 and the S2MS number. Of course they all had appropriate date codes for their individual application.

Not with that date - it's too late for a Cobra Kit or a Cobra.
