Will it have indoor concours judging?

They could as Road Atlanta has enclosed buildings where cars can be displayed, such as the garage and paddock areas
Now that would be very nice for those of us who are not playing boy racers.
From the SAAC Facebook page
I'm looking forwards to being on the track!

If the above dates are confirmed they match the same venue as the MCA 50th anniversary show. 2 shows in one???

I saw that

Mind blowing at what a combined event would be like.

Yes the MCA has invited SAAC to join in celebration of our 50th Anniversary and their 51st Anniversary. This is something that Curt and I have been discussing for awhile. This should be an excellent event as our 2 organizations have never had a combined event. We are both still hammering out details.
Stay tuned as we hope to have more information very soon.
Thanks

....and.. there you have it.
SAAC returns to the Southeast for one massive celebration of Mustangs and Shelbys.
Three days of Open Track, car shows, Concours judging...and plenty of off track fun.
As said... details to follow as they are solidified.
👍👍

Same dates... we will share the venue and integrate with the common festivities.
Ron,
Very cool, thanks for the clarification.

Excellent, now a choice of where you want to have your car judged.

That might not really be an option, as most (not all) SAAC concourse judges also judge the MCA concourse events making the Shelby class a blended combination. Logistics will come in to play for the final verdict.

It is my understanding that the SAAC cars will be integrated in with the MCA cars on the show field for judging. Of course that may change between now and then.

The past 5 or so years, not so much, but it's true that many SAAC and MCA judges have judged with both organizations at some point. The judging rules are similar, with the main differences being that SAAC points are weighted more towards originality and MCA is divided 50/50 for originality and workmanship/condition/cleanliness... and also, SAAC allows fractional deductions.

Mine will be in the street driven class, does that allow for road grime from the 100+ mile trip down to the show field. I promise to have the correct colored convertible top on by then ;)

Mustang Week 24-29 August at ZMax in Charlotte.
